Service and joy
If you aren’t terrified about the life in front of you then you probably aren’t aware enough. You probably don’t have high enough dreams/ expectations for your life.
If you aren’t completely at peace with the fact that you are terrified then you probably aren’t aware enough of what life is. If you aren’t at peace with your dreams/ direction, then you need to change it (them).

Joy and pain are twin sisters separated at birth.
There is something truly and deeply tragic about the highest good we have on earth.
Heaven and Hell.
each of us goes through life carrying a personal hell.
The goal of sharing this hell is not to dwell on it and stay there, but to do the opposite. To realize that we are not alone in hell. To realize that though we have hell in common in our humanity— we can have have heaven in common too.
God’s Will
No matter how much I seem to get distracted, forget, or somehow pulled away from this fact: nothing can get in the way of God’s Will. And God’s Will is to restore those who cling to Him. Make all things rightly ordered, new, whole and fully of joy and peace. Trusting that is probably my biggest spiritual pitfall that creeps in to discourage me everyday, but God is good and ever-present with me to remind me otherwise.
